Employer case study · ThreatConnect

Automating the upgrade queue

As a Customer Success Engineer at ThreatConnect, I supported $3M in enterprise accounts on a threat-intelligence platform — and inherited an upgrade process that ran on email ping-pong.

The problem

Every SaaS upgrade meant a hand-scheduled dance: emails to find a window, manual reminders, a checklist nobody could see. Multiply by every customer on the roster and the team was spending real engineering hours on calendar administration.

What I built

The first version of what this business now calls the method: draw the process end-to-end, then wire it — Calendly for the scheduling handshake, n8n for everything after it.

15 hrs
saved per week
$3M
accounts supported
6
integrations wired
0
scheduling emails left

Fifteen hours a week, recovered by drawing a process before automating it. The same move — at business scale — is what I sell today.

The same discipline runs this business today.
