Intuit — QuickBooks, small business, and the language of money
Tucson, 2004–2006: as a QuickBooks Direct Sales Consultant, I sat with small-business owners and figured out which software actually fit how their business ran — the original version of a habit this firm never dropped.
Along the way I streamlined how the team created and managed opportunities, trained thirteen coworkers on the new process, and became the go-to QuickBooks resource — the person on the phone when the technical questions got real. It earned a few awards, but the durable part was the fluency: automation that understands a P&L started here.
